My Top 8 Korean Child Stars: Before and Now

I have been an avid K-pop fan since I was a university student. Nevertheless, I am already watching dramas and movies since high school. Let us say that after 5 years or more, I decided to research the child stars that I watched before.

Here are the Top 8 who entered my list:
8. Moon Mason
He was the baby in the movie of Jang Geuk Suk's Baby and Me (I).


He is also known as the " Little Nickhun".

7. Jung Chan Woo
He played as the young Gu Jun Pyo in the popular drama "Boys Over Flowers".
He is not that really active in the limelight. However, he is back to play as the young Kim Tan(just a flashback) in "The Heirs".
Double Take: He played as the young Lee Min Ho in 2 dramas already.
6. Park Ji Bin
It was not really obvious that I love Boys Over Flowers:) He played as the younger brother of Jan Di.

5. Kim Yoo Jung
She already played numerous young versions of the main lead of dramas such as Iljimae, Dong Yi and Moon Embracing the Sun. She is active in showbiz for the past 8 years. She is considered as one of South Korea's in demand child actress. She is currently promoting her new movie with Big Bang's TOP " Commitment".

Trivia: She already worked with Yeo Jun Goo in the drama Iljimae before their popular team-up with The Moon Embracing the Sun.

4. Moon Geun Young
She played as younger version of Song Hye Kyo's popular drama- Endless Love: Autumn in my Heart. She is active in showbiz. She is currently dating Kim Bum.

3. Park Shin Hye
Just like Moon Geun Young she was able to get a good spot in showbiz. She was able to maintain her status as one of notable actress in her generation. Well, I just really surprised when she was in Stairway to Heaven.


2. Choi Woo Hyuk
My childhood crush from Endless Love :)
He is not visible in any dramas or movies (as of this moment). However, no explanation needed once you see his picture.


I have noticed that his eyes changed. Oh well, he is more handsome than ever:)

1. Baek Sung Hyun
The main reason why he was in number 1? I did not recognize that he is part of one my favorite classic dramas. He played the young Kwon Sang Woo's character in Stairway to Heaven. All I know he was the man who is in love in Suzy Bae's character in Big.  I even thought he was a newbie. All things were uncovered when I watched him at Entertainment Weekly at KBS World. He is busy with his drama together with Sistar's Dasom.

To those who are living in USA are very familiar with the term Ivy League .  "a group of long-established colleges and universities in the eastern US having high academic and social prestige. It includes Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Columbia, Dartmouth, Cornell, Brown, and the University of Pennsylvania."
