As a fan, it is a heartbreaking moment when one of the members of our favorite group leaves. Even if that person is not our bias, the group seems to incomplete even if the group continues to promote with or without him/her. Entertainment companies face crisis as well whether to add or remove new members because fans have different response unto it.
10. AFTERSCHOOL
AFTERSCHOOL has been tagged as the Korean "Pussycat Dolls". They have been known with they sexy image. Pledis Entertainment debuted the girls in January 2009 with the concept of admission and graduation. The original members have 5 members. Now, they have 8 members.
9. 2PM
They are known for being the beast idol. The group is formed by Park Jin Young(JYP). They were originally 11 members and they were called One Day. However, they were divided into 2: 2AM and 2PM. 2PM were in the peaked of their career when Jay Park were in the midst of a controversy. This is about his comments about Korea and the people when he was a trainee. His conversation with his friend was leaked online. The management was forced to terminate his contract and he went back to the United States. However, he was able to get back on track and now a solo artist.
8. A Pink
With their aegyo and bubbly image who cannot resist A Pink? In 2011, Cube Entertainment debuted the group. However, in 2013, the group faced one of the biggest challenge in their career. Yoo Kyung left the group because she wanted to pursue her studies. However, Hong Ha Jong, who is the CEO of DSR Corporation and father of Yoo Kyung demanded an apology from Cube Entertainment. He said that Cube does not stated the real reason why they asked them to leave the group. Despite the disputes, Cube does not want to bring her back anymore.
7. FT Island
Five Treasure Island also known as FT Island is under FNC Entertainment. When they debuted, Oh Won Bin was included. Due to conflict to musical interests, he decided to leave the group in 2009. He was replaced by Seunghyun.
6. T-ARA
Before they debuted they were coined as Supursuing per Rookies. They were originally 5 members for the pre-debut. They sang the OST of Cinderella Man " Good Person". However, for their official debut of "Lies" 2 members were gone and changed by Boram, Soyeon and QRI. For the past years, additional memebers were added but they did not last just like Hwayoung who is famous for the bullying scandal of T-ARA. As well as Areum to pursue an acting career.
5. U-KISS
U-KISS debuted with 6 members. However, in 2011, NH Media to not renew the contract of Alexander and Kibum. The company decided to drop them because they are "inefficient". In the middle of 2013, additional member to leave the group- Dongho. He stated that he wanted to take a break from the entertainment industry.
4. Girl's Day
The group has originally 5 members. Yet, 2 months after debut 2 members decided to go. Thus, Yura and Yejin replaced them. It was 2012 when Jihae decided to personal reasons.
3. KARA
KARA is also known as the successor of one of the biggest girl group -FIN K.L. This is also the group were Korea's sexy diva Lee Hyori was a part of. The original members were comprised of 4. However, when Sung Hee because of her parents. Thus, in 2008, Hara and Ji Young. They encountered various ups and downs in their career especially the disputes of the members themselves. In early 2014, Nicole and Ji Young decided to have their own paths.
2. Super Junior
Just like After School, they have the concept of admission and graduation. That is why their original name is Super Junior 05. However, they were a success and they continue to increase in number. Having Kyuhyun, the group's maknae, as the last one to debut. In 2012, they were considered by Guinness World Book of Records as the largest number of boy band members. Super Junior's sub-group, Super Junior-M, has additional members namely Henry and Zhoumi. Kibum, without a word, did not continue his promotions in their repacked album specifically in "It's You". SM said that he wanted to pursue his acting career. Yet, until today things were not clear. They were in the peaked of their career when Hangeng decided to leave the group due to conflicts of so called slavery of SM.

The KPOP industry was in chaos when one of the members of the emerging hottest band decided to have his withdraw. The group decided to continue without him. The lawsuit between Kris and SM Entertainment is still on-going.
The list is done but I think TVXQ should be included. Yunho and Changmin decided to continue as duo despite the Junsu, Yoochun and Jaejoong left and formed JYJ. Same with Hangeng's case regarding slavery. Both groups are active in the industry. However, some news said the SM continues to block JYJ's promotion especially in music shows. (Please watch JYJ's Backseat and I am sure your hearts will melt :))
