10 Korean Idols and Actors Who Are Also Athletes (Part 1)

No wonder that our favorite celebrities are in good shape before they entered the entertainment industry. They were sports stars in their own field. Are you interested to know them? Here are our favorite celebrities:

10.  SHINee's Minho (Soccer)

Instead of following his father's footsteps, Minho opted to be a singer/actor. His father is no other soccer coach Choi Yun Kyum. 



9.  Highlight's Doojoon (Soccer)


He earned the nickname Soccerdol because of his passion and ability in playing soccer. He was able to prove it in various shows such as now defunct Cool Kiz on the Block (Episode 148). During his free time, he plays with his co-members and staffs.

8. Lee Si Young (Boxing)

She is an exception to the list. Compared to other celebrities, she discovered boxing when is already an actress. She was active in joining like Asian Games 2014 and even the Rio Olympics 2016. Yet, due to weight limitations and shoulder fractures, it hindered her to represent her country. Last year, she retired from boxing. 


7. So Ji Sub (Swimming)

He is indeed a natural sports buff. He started professional training at the age of 10 and continued until  20 years old. 


6. B1A4's Baro (Track and Field)

He is an avid sports enthusiast. During the Idol Star Athletics Championship, he was considered as one of the fastest which includes BTOB's Minhyuk (though he won)in 60m dash.

Celebrities Who Studied in Top Universities in Korea

To those who are living in USA are very familiar with the term Ivy League .  "a group of long-established colleges and universities in the eastern US having high academic and social prestige. BTS and their Sasaeng Encounters

For the past months, BTS's popularity has been increasing. This also results to more fans and of course the sasaengs. Without further ado, I compiled sasaeng encounters of each member of BTS.  1. Jin The picture's original title is " A chilling smile of a sasaeng at Gimpo Airport today." 2. Suga Do you still remember in August 2016, when BTS official twitter account had glitches?
